Stiftung KlimaWirtschaft is the German business partner of the Transatlantic Climate Bridge. Cooperation between the European Union, Canada and the United States is one of the most effective forms of global common action for achieving the transition to a climate-neutral economy.
We make use of our member companies’ close economic contacts to promote debate between progressive decision makers from business and politics on both sides of the Atlantic. With the support of the German federal government and together with the partners of the Transatlantic Climate Bridge, we organize confidence-building dialogues, develop solutions and identify options for action.
With the We Mean Business Coalition and adelphi, we hosted a hybrid business roundtable at COP26 in Glasgow on opportunities for transatlantic cooperation during the German G7 presidency in 2022. In 2022, our work will focus in particular on constructively engaging with the German G7 presidency on the decarbonization of industry.
