The EU Green Deal requires a fundamental transformation of all areas of society and the economy. The challenges for business and industry, which must implement this transformation under conditions of global competitiveness, are enormous. To keep to the 1.5° target, we need nothing less than an industrial revolution, which must be implemented globally and successfully in just under 25 years.
Together with our funding companies, we are constructively supporting the shaping of EU legislative proposals to implement the EU Green Deal (Fit for 55) and to move away from fossil fuels and accelerate the European energy transition (REPowerEU).
In order to contribute the most workable solutions possible, we have assembled a group of progressive companies from a wide range of business sectors. This addresses the urgent need for trustful exchange between ambitious companies and political decision-makers at European and national level. We want to build bridges between the public and private sectors, between European and national actors. We want to make climate neutrality made in Europe a success.
